Hello A is for Arsenic fans!
When I came off a very long tour with my band in late 2012 I went back into design mode and I've been working hard on 3 new collections to be released in the next few weeks. I've also been working on creating a 'ready to ship' area of the shop for those who might not be able to wait for jewellery to be made to order. I will be adding new items to this section regularly.
Keep your eyes peeled on our facebook page for the latest updates and sneak previews of new designs which will be launched in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for dropping by and for all your support.
]]>It is with great excitement that I reveal the results of a collaboration between one of my favourite bands Atari Teenage Riot and A is for Arsenic. We have been working on a few premium merch items which are now available from the Hellish Vortex Online Shop and at Atari Teenage Riot shows.
Each piece of jewellery comes with a specially designed gift box and a product card that is signed by all members of the band. The collection is strictly limited in edition, so grab them while they are still available!

It was a great pleasure to work on these designs with one of my favourite bands in the world! Atari Teenage Riot were a huge influence on me when I first started listening to and creating electronic music. They continue to be a ground breaking and innovative band both visually and musically, so it was a total dream come true to collaborate with them on this project.

I have just put up a selection of still life photos taken of the Night Terrors Act 01 range inspired by the Vanitas theme of painting from around the 17th century. Taken by the amazing Anna Sziczeniuk on a rainy night in London, we had great fun putting together these contemplative and slightly morbid tableaux inspired by the imagery of the Night Terrors shirts.
These images are being used for a press and media kit as well as promotional material for A is for Arsenic, as I thought it would be much more interesting to take conceptually inspired product photographs instead plain pictures taken against a white background.
The debut collection of London based fashion + art label A is for Arsenic has finally been released. Featuring two terrifying graphic prints over a variety of garments this limited edition collection has been hand printed and made with love in England.
To check out the lookbook for the collection, click here. To find out more about the creative team behind the photoshoot read about it here.
At the moment, the collection will only be available online here at aisforarsenic.com. Numbers are strictly limited, so grab the garments while you can!

The photoshoot for A is for Arsenic's September release entitled The 'Night Terrors: Act 01 combined the collaborative efforts of a few London based creatives.
Talented photographer Anna Swiczwniuk was responsible for the haunting photography. Check out her portolio here.
The gorgeous Nina Kate was the female model for the shoot, who also happens to be a talented designer in her own right as she runs the successful Jane Doe Latex clothing company. Her husband Stitch_D was the awesome male model, who is the lead singer in the London based metal band The Defiled. Nina Kate's hair was done by the amazing Ceri from Snarl Hair. Thanks also to Katie Woodger for her assistance on the day.
Lastly the art direction and retouching was undertaken by myself. I was lucky enough to be able to borrow some amazing props from my dear friend Louisa Bryan.
If you're interested in checking out larger versions of the photos, click here to check out the lookbook.
I hope you enjoyed the photos of the Night Terrors range. Personally, I love doing photoshoots as I find them to be one of the most rewarding (yet also stressful!) experiences of running a fashion line.
