Mixed Mode + Mort Rings Pair

Taxidermia is a modern re-imagining of Victorian mourning jewellery and attire, a graphic world of dark Victoriana, memento mori and macabre taxidermy. Featuring vicious yet elegant designs with a nod to the past, Taxidermia is a thoroughly contemporary art jewellery and apparel collection created and constructed in London.

The 'mode + mort' ring set includes two double finger rings, one engraved with 'mort' and the other 'mode' (meaning death and fashion in French). The 'mode' ring is constructed from silver mirror perspex with the black 'mort' one being made from glossy black perspex. Each ring design measures approximately 7.5cm wide x 4cm high. The inner part of the rings measure approximately 1.8cm x 3.7cm with one size fitting most.

This ring set comes in a limited edition of 40 pieces with a hand numbered and signed swing tag. Each set comes gift packaged in a specially designed ‘Taxidermia’ gift box.
